Jordan MacWilliams

Cpl. Jordan MacWilliams has been with Delta Police since 2008 when he was hired as a Reserve Constable. During his career, he has worked in Patrol, Vulnerable Persons Unit, Operational Skills Unit and on ERT.

In November 2012, Cpl. MacWilliams responded to a hostage taking at a local casino. During this incident, Cpl. MacWilliams shot and killed the hostage taker. Cpl. MacWilliams was investigated by the Independent Investigations Office of British Columbia which resulted in Crown Counsel charging him with murder. In 2015, Crown Counsel entered a stay of proceedings and a statement exonerating Cpl. MacWilliams of wrongdoing.

Once cleared, Cpl. MacWilliams returned to ERT where he works now as a team leader.
